2026 Bingo card & 2025 update!

Hello Life Simplifiers!

I am excited to bring back talking about my yearly goals in the form of a bingo card! I did this in 2025 and had some successes and some places where I did not quite meet my goals. The most important part of this process for me was that i had something to look at daily to keep me on track and a way to measure my wins.

You can read my original blog post here

I wanted to share what I am keeping, what I am adjusting, and what did not work for me. So if you have yet to make your 2026 goals, or you have them in your head but need a way to make it fun and motivating, I am so glad you are here!

What worked—

  • Making it fun! I had a list of rewards when i got a bingo. My rewards ranged from a bath while reading, an afternoon off to go for a hike, or even a new workout outfit. These can be free or a little splurge if you want. I highly encourage you to make the list of things you love to have as a reward system.

  • Looking at my goals regularly. As part of my morning routine I would look at both of my bingo cards. This would keep me focused on my goals and keep me aligned with where I wanted to go.

  • Separating my work goals from my personal goals. This was best for me, I have a friend who I did this with who combined all her goals into one and that worked great for her, its what works for YOU.

  • Quarterly Bingo Cards. This kept my goals manageable and in reach. And refreshing them during my quarterly admin day was really fun.

  • Creating a vision board to correspond with my bingo cards. I know this is going to sound a little crazy, but hey I am who I am. I create a yearly vision board, quarterly vision board as well as monthly vision boards. All on Pinterest. I was not perfect, but I do reflect on those boards pretty regularly as part of my morning routine. I have a blog post talking all about my morning routine you can check out here. I am also trying to use Pinterest to replace some of my scrolling habit. (I do love my TikTok)

What I adjusted—

  • My work bingo card was actually for the entire year and this was still helpful, but made it harder to know what to focus on, so this year both my personal and work goals are broken into that quarterly cards. Yes that means this year I will have “completed” 8 bingo cards.

  • The rewards if needed. There were times I had chosen a reward that I was not financially able to do, so I just picked something else from the list. This year I had a more comprehensive idea list of rewards.

What did not work for me—

  • Having goals that were too big with no action steps to get there. I had a few goals that I just threw on there with no plan. I hate to be a broken record but I truly believe that these quaterly bingo cards will truly help these goals feel like daily choices of things I can work toward, rather than just a wish.

  • This is similar, but just filling spaces on the card with no real intention behind them. Over 2025 I had used the back of my cards to write notes, ideas and inspiration. This really helped me form my 2026 goals
